Your kind donations will support our work in facilitating the voices of people in poverty being heard.
Through home visits and weekly open house days we build trust and friendship with those experiencing extreme poverty. Through conversations, creativity and the creation of safe, non- judgmental spaces we listen and learn from each other, encourage people to find their voice and recognise their own wisdom, capacity and potential.
We provide a space for people from all walks of life to learn about poverty and socio-economic discrimination, and carry out our actions together and in solidarity with those with direct lived experience.
Along with creating a welcoming space for families living in persistent poverty, we provide learning and volunteering opportunities for students and young people of all backgrounds to be involved in the fight against poverty.
We aim to be present and support people through the challenging moments and celebrate with them through the happy times throughout the year.
Through public projects led by those with lived experience, we work to challenge perceptions and the stigma of poverty and put an end to socio- economic discrimination.
By building relationships with policymakers and institutions we aim to effect change in a real and tangible way.
Through actions such as our poverty aware practice we aim to build relationships and break barriers between those in positions of power and those experiencing disadvantage.
Through our advocacy work we aim to change policy and practice and enable people living in poverty to be at the heart of decision making on issues that effect them.
ATD welcomes everyone. It unites people whatever their origin, social status, culture or beliefs to fight against poverty.

Singing for Change
All welcome to join us on Tuesday 17th 3pm at the GPO for our annual festive street singing on the street. All funds raised go to ATD Ireland.
