\u00a0The purpose of LNOB series 4 is to raise awareness of Agenda 2030 of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by exploring the Leave No One Behind (LNOB) Promise attached to the Agenda and what it means to those facing poverty and exclusion.<\/p>

We asked groups \u201cWhat does it mean to Leave No One Behind?\u201d and related questions, such as;<\/span> \u201cWhat does support feel like to you?\u201d and\u201cWhat are the barriers to participation?\u201d.<\/span><\/p>

We facilitated workshops which were largely based on creative expression.<\/span> Specifically, we used collage.<\/span>\u00a0 Creative expression acts as an equalizer, supporting everyone to have their viewpoints heard regardless of level of education, level of spoken English, confidence and familiarity with the topic.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

After 13 workshops with 10 groups across the country we decided on 9 key themes which reflected the creative expressions and conversations we had over the course of the project.<\/p>

Overall participants really connected with the concept of \u2018Leave No One Behind\u2019, even if they were not completely familiar with the Sustainable Development Goals and the promise itself.<\/span> The participants had a unique insight and knowledge into how people were being left behind; from a national and international perspective to how people were being left behind within their local communities.<\/span> From this knowledge we can take valuable learnings on how to promote inclusion and ensure everyone has their needs met.<\/span><\/p>
